Date: Wed, 2 Aug 2000 15:37:59 EDT Reply-To: Maryland Birds & Birding Sender: Maryland Birds & Birding From: Danny Poet Subject: John Brown Rd Turf Farm Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hello All = ON the way home from Work yesterday afternoon A fast check of the John Brown Rd Turf Farm in Queen Annes Co Md did not produce a lot but I Did Find Sereval Pectoral Sandpipers , Killdeer 1 semipalmated Plover A few leas= t Sandpiper and a flock of gulls containing laughing Gull and Ring billed Gulls but sitting with the gulls in an area stripped of sod was a TERN. As the area was backlit a little views were not the best but My guess was a Common Tern as feet and bill looked to be more red than a Foresters Tern would be . still had its black cap. Seems to me to be an odd place as this area not to near the river. Any thoughts Anyone?
