Possibly one person could be the filter, taking phone calls and arranging limited trips. That way, each visitor could be required to give their name, license number, and address....... I spoke to two other (well-behaved) crane-seekers when I visited The Crane-- they had heard of the bird secondhand, not thru MDOsprey. Someone else had told them...SO, if supervised access were to work, Ospreyers would have to refrain from passing on info? Obviously, this solution would not be a guarantee, but at least it would cut down on trouble. My report that the neighbor was spooked by large camera lenses has upset some innocent folks. I think that the owner of the offending lens walked onto the neighbor's property without permission. (This occurred after the crane left #1845, and went behind the third house, to the river bank, last Saturday.)
