Personally, I saw the bird yesterday afternoon 1:30-2:00 PM. It was lounging with Mallards near the boat ramp, then flew and was later seen between the marsh islands that separate Indian River Bay proper from the Cove. This is looking due east from the boat ramp. Directions: From the west (rt 113) take DE 26 east through Dagsboro, Clarksville, Millville to Ocean View. From Rt 1 in Bethany Beach, take DE 26 west over the canal into Ocean View. At the intersection of DE 26 and Central Ave (traffic light here), turn north. Central Ave. becomes Cedar Neck Rd. Continue to the end, then bear left. There are 'Private Drive' signs, but birders are welcome. Continue over 3 speed bumps and the boat ramp is on the right.
