Hi Folks,

This is my last week in Maryland.  I'm moving to Tennessee to be
senior naturalist at the Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont.


Between jobs I'll be banding for a week on an island off the coast of
Maine, so please think good weather thoughts for me!

Though I am very excited about working in the Smokies, and the fact
that I get to live within the park itself, I am going to miss the
Maryland birding/naturalist community.  I've learned a lot from you
folks, and gotten to see a lot of birds (and other organisms) that I
likely would have missed without the guidance of many of you.  I can
only hope that the TN-Birds listserv is half as informative as
MDOsprey, and that the folks down there are half as generous with
their knowledge as all of you.

Since my dad lives in AA County, I will be visiting now and then, so
I hope to bump into some of you in the field in the future.

Again, thanks to all of you.
