I've been too busy to bird for months, but while running errands on Aug 9,2000 at 11:05 am, I was driving towards Bel Air on Rt 152 in Fallston. Just past the Middle School, just before the guard rail on the left, I saw my very first WILD TURKEY! How weird is that??? It was completely out the blue. The turkey gods must have finally forgiven me for whatever it was that I did to offend them. I've driven thousands of miles looking for a turkey over the years. I've heard them twice, but never saw them. And then one shows up in a spot I've been past millions of times in my life time, two miles from home. Go figure.
