A Montgomery county MOS trip Thurs evening had:

an immature LITTLE BLUE HERON at Lilypons, seen from the
bridge, working the dikes 2-3 impoundments east of the
river

LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE on a fencepost in the field south of
Lilypons rd

3 UPLAND SANDPIPERS--initially north of Lilypons Rd,
about 1/3 mile east of Rt 85, close to the road; they
flushed further north, out of sight, but about 5 minutes
later 2 flew to the grassy field south of Lilypons Rd
very close to Rt 85, and worked the brown furrows/tracks
running parallel to 85.
