McDonald" Subject: CROMWELL VALLEY ALERT MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit The following is the text of a notice posted at Cromwell Valley Park in Balt. Co. I was alerted to the problem by Jim Meyers when I arrived at the park this evening. WARNING!!!! THERE'S A VERY REAL, IMMEDIATE THREAT TO THE WELL-BEING OF THIS PARK!!! HOW would you feel about hearing and seeing, first the Minebank Nature Trail being paved over....THEN many, many big trucks rambling thru every day for years, down along the stream east, thru what is now, (oh, we don't want to say "WAS ONCE") a beautiful meadow, carrying heavy loads for construction on Loch Raven's lower dam?? (There's already access by road to accomplish the task, they don't NEED to do it this way...) PLEASE HELP!!! TAKE ACTION TO PREVENT THIS IMMINENT PLAN AND THREAT TO WILDLIFE AND THE SERENITY OF THIS PARK!! CALL OR WRITE: Jean Tansey Balto County Dept of Rec. & Parks 301 Washington Ave. Towson, MD 21204 410-887-3806 *************************** The above address was included in the notice. It probably wouldn't hurt to also write John F. Weber, III, Director of Balt Co Rec & Parks at the same address or Dutch Ruppersberger, County Executive.
