I saw 500-1000 swifts funneling into a chimney in my Baltimore neighborhood. They started to enter the chimney at 7:55 and the last one entered at 8:12. About one-half dozen Common Nighthawks were hunting in the stadium lights at Johns Hopkins University. I really get a kick out of seeing these activities each fall.
