I may/may not be away this weekend for Williamsburg in VA for camping. If you plan to help out, you can try to count for half day or full day. Half day will run 9am-12pm or 1pm and full day will run from 9am-5pm and maybe for nighthawk watch from 7pm-8:15pm. If plan to watch, I have a count sheet which you might count birds by their # and the time like 12:45pm and the direction which the birds was headed. Monarch will be count as a hourly count, not by a time like 12:45pm, more like 3 Monarch at 12pm-1pm, 4 1pm-2pm Also anybody is welcome to help out to join me in Sept during the week or the weekend to spot some Broadwings. Last fall during the fall count, 7,042 Broadwings and 25 other hawks were counted. And some days during weekday, there are some good numbers from 1200 up to 2500 each day. Let me know if you can help out. thanks Kevin Graff Backyard Hawk Watch in NE Baltimore City, MD hawkwatch_21206@yahoo.com __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
