TRICOLORED HERON. It continues to hang out on the mudflats near the parkway (and today seemed to favor roosting on one of the grocery carts submerged in the mud). I first saw the bird at about 8:10 am, and I, along with Rob Hilton & Lisa Shannon, watched it till about 9:10 am. I left there bird (and Rob & Lisa) there. Other highlights today were: 18 Caspian Terns (a good number for here) 25+ Forster's Terns 2 Black Terns 2 Blue-winged Teal Later, Paul Pisano Arlington, VA cheep@erols.com ======================================================================== To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================== ==========================================================================
