Wind from the NE until changed to NEE around 10:45am and back and forth few times. Felt like October with chilled wind in am. Raptor Migration Highlight: Season first major flight. Good day with 10 species. Largest kettle so far was a flock of 5 Broad-winged Hawks at 11:18am headed SW. Both eagles today with a adult at 11:23am headed SW and a 1st year at 11:32am headed SW. 3 Osprey in one minute apart, a pair at 11:59am and single at noon. Non-Raptor Migration Highlight: 2 new yard list with a male Baltimore Oriole flyby at 10:43am headed SWW and a imm. female Prairie Warbler at one of the maple tree at 10:57am, it is unusual for this bird to be in this habitat, their home is near water and I only had a 16' by 8' pond in the yard. Some nice fall-out of warblers with 2 Yellow, 1 Prairie and 1 Yellowthroat at 10:57am and also 4 unid warblers flyby at 10:53am. Nice flock of V-form of 5 cormorants at 11:31am headed SE.
