MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hello all, Took a quick drive out my road today (80 acres of fields/forest hidden ne xt to downtown Annapolis) at around 2:00 p.m. I was pleased to find 9 speci es of warblers with minimal effort. The first flock (in the woods) containe d 2 redstarts, 2 Black-and-whites, an Ovenbird, a Northern Parula, and a fema le Black-throated Blue, my first fall migrant of the latter for the season. Better, the second flock included an adult male GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER (my 2nd yard record and 3rd for Anne Arundel Co.), a female-type WILSON's WARBLER (about #5-6 in my yard), and a WARBLING VIREO (about #4-5 in my yard). A truly great little group there. A little additional birding revealed a Magnolia, 2 more redstarts, and a Northern Waterthrush. Not crazy amount s of activity, but nice gorups of birds. Good birding, Marshall Iliff miliff@aol.com ======================================================================== To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================== ==========================================================================
