Since it was the only sandpiper in the pond there was nothing but Killdeer to compare it with. There were 34 Killdeer there and 38 at the Westminster Reservoir along with resident Canada Geese and a Graylag Goose plus a white goose of unknown origin. Migrant landbirds were nowhere to be seen.
