The flight occurred on SE winds 0-5 mph, in much the same pattern as the past few days, go figure. OS-5 BE-3 NH-1 SHARP-SHINNED HAWK- 85 ( this is more like it ) CH-2 AK-8 UA-1 After a decent flight like this, the adrenalin really gets going in anticipation of more!! The Turkey Point Hawk Watch is in Cecil Co. Maryland, on the southern tip of the Elk Neck Peninsula, in the Elk Neck State Park, and originated in 1995. It is entirely manned by volunteer counters.
