There was a great turnout of birders and we had a delightful walk around the lake. The birds of note were a GREAT EGRET and KINGFISHER by the wildlife end. A lone young PURPLE MARTIN sailed overhead. There were a couple pockets of warblers with the expected REDTARTS, MAGNOLIAS and BLACK & WHITES. A young WHITE-EYED VIREO was quite entertaining with a unique rendition of their typical song. JAYS are really on the move.
