Thanks Larry Fry Greetings: On Friday, September 15 between the hours of 10:00 and 11:00 AM a large number of Broad-winged Hawks passed over our house in Pylesville, MD. At least 6 different kettles were observed containing 17, 5, 35, 50 50, and 50 hawks each. Individual hawks were also observed giving a total of at least 220 Broad-wings Four Sharp-shinned Hawks headed south also were counted.
