Along the way we stopped at 3 sewage ponds and 3 turf farms. = We found nothing but Killdeer and Horned Larks at the turf farms in = Queen Anne's, Talbot, and Wicomico counties. At the Ridgely sewage = ponds were 3 Eared Grebes in the left pond. The White-rumped Sandpiper = was still with the shorebird flock in the right pond with 6 Shovelers = and 5 Ruddy Ducks. At the Easton sewage ponds were 1 Greater = Yellowlegs, 10 Blue-winged Teal, and 4 Green-winged Teal. At the = Hurlock sewage ponds were 1 Eared Grebe, 1 Pied-billed Grebe, 11 Ruddy = Ducks, 2 Snow Geese (summering), 50 Shovelers, 2 White-rumped = Sandpipers, and 2 Black Terns. Most of the waterfowl are in the left = rear pond. The shorebird flock is near the center dike intersection.
