Students Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" ; format="flowed" Good morning: The adult students in the college class ("Environmental Biology") I teach locally would enjoy visiting a banding operation in Maryland or northern Virginia. We'd only need an hour or two of observation, so I'd appreciate any leads or suggestions as to whom I might contact. The MAPS banding station I banded at this past season ("Adventure," in the Potomoc area) is no longer in operation, so I don't have this option. EVEN a small backyard, non-official station run by a licensed bird-bander would be fine. I simply want to introduce my 8-9 students to the concept and relate the field trip to various ecological/environmental principles. Any suggestions, please?
