Especially of note, first ever BROWN CREEPER for yard. 2 EASTERN PEEWEE were active feeding from snags in same area. A pair of BLUE GROSBEAKS paused briefly on the edge of the yard, before flying off to an adjacent corn field. BOBOLINKS were heard passing over, and KILLDEER were very active in ploughed field across from the yard. And yes, I was scanning the field for other goodies, to no avail. Oh, and a BLACK-THROATED GREEN WARBLER put in a brief appearance before moving on. Now I had better get something done.A few mornings ago, while sitting out in yard with my husband ( he was sitting, I was pursuing ) he said, " is this what you do EVERY morning?
