We found one at each location. It's nice to get a state bird(#306) in 2 counties on the same day. The rest of the birding for the day was rather slow. At dawn we were at Terrapin Pt. park where the warblers were few and far between. Best their was a late Yellow and a Tennessee. We stopped at John Brown, but must have missed some of the birds that Les Roslund had. We saw 3 Golden Plovers and a Buff-breasted. Ridgely, besides the grebe, had 2 White-rumps and lots of Shoveler, Green-winged, and Blue-winged Teal along with Ruddy Ducks. Easton STP was pretty empty save a flock of Blue-winged and Green-winged Teal. Hurlock was a little better with lots of Shoveler, a Blue-winged, a few Green-winged, Ruddies, and Wigeon. Our warbler quest after that was rather slow until we found 3 flocks of warblers on Sharp and Presquile Rds in Northern Talbot county. There we discovered: Blue-winged, Tennesee, Par! ! ula, Chestnut-sided, Magnolia, Black-throated Green, Blackburnian, Blackpoll, Black-and-white and Redstart. Other migrants included: Great-Crested Flycatcher, Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Blue-headed Vireo, Warbling Vireo, and Red-eyed Vireo. Not a bad end to the day. It was time for me to get to back to school though so we couldn't stay any longer.
