It was, however, wet and slow slow slow until we finally caught up with a bird flock near the horse corral that contained 3 Redstarts, 4 Magnolia, 2 Black-and-White, 1 Blackpoll, 3 Black-throated Blue, 1 Parula, 1 Red-eyed Vireo, 1 Scarlet tanager, 1 Traill's-type Flycatcher and a Pewee. There were also 6-8 Yell ow- throats in the Maintenance Yard. No thrushes, surprising because of the g ood numbers passing through in last few days. Oh, many many many Flickers and Catbirds, too. And Swifts overhead. Looking forward to the better weather predicted tomorrow.
