I went to check my little "spot" before the scheduled weekday walk and found aprox 50 warblers in 10 minutes. 22 BTG, 8 Magnolias, 10 Redstarts, 3 B and Whites , 4 BTBs plus the many that zipped away before I could sort through them. A flyby Scarlet tanager and big ## of Flickers. Over at Gwynne Acres our weekday walk was attended by 16 birders. Before we hit the trail 3 Wood Ducks flew over. We had a number of thrushes which all appeared to be swainsons.(none ever graced us with a good look) We found red and white eyed vireos. Magnolias, BTB, BTG, B and White, Redstarts an OVENBIRD and a BAY-BREAST and ever present Common Yellowthroats.
