The lane behind church produced two calling white-throated sparrows this morning. They are my first white-throat's for the Fall. Also seen was a Swainson's thrush and a wood thrush. By the way, the yellow-bellied sapsucker was back today (or a relative of his), and a magnolia warbler was identified late yesterday.
