Lots of Palm and Yellow-rumped Warblers, and 5 American Kestrels, three of which perched all morning in a large oak tree out in a field, while Blue Jays, N. Flickers and a Sharp-shinned Hawk (at different times) harassed them! Also had B & W Warbler, C.Yellowthroat, Magnolia and a male and female Black-throated Blue (my favorite!), Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Song and Chipping Sparrow, and Lots of Cedar Waxwings. Fall is definitely in the air... Rick Sussman Ashton,MD Warblerick@aol.com 301-774-1185 (Tues.
