Highlights of a visit to the Back River sewage plant were 310 = Double-crested Cormorants, 2 Cattle Egrets flying over, 1 Cooper's Hawk, = 1 Red-shouldered Hawk, 100 Chimney Swifts, 3 Phoebes, 1 Marsh Wren, 1 = Tennessee Warbler, 3 Yellow-rumped Warblers, 9 Palm Warblers (5 yellow, = 4 western), 10 Yellowthroats, 4 Swamp Sparrows, 5 Indigo Buntings, 1 = Scarlet Tanager, and 1 Red-eyed Vireo. At North Point State Park were 1 Mute Swan, 75 Double-crested = Cormorants, 15 Caspian Terns, 3 Golden-crowned Kinglets, and a male = Black-throated Blue Warbler.
