There was a great turnout of 20 people , maybe the nice weather was a motivator. We were excited to find a MARSH WREN in the long cattail patch. It was seen briefly by many but then dove in the tails and was never seen again. We had a nice assortment of birds including a BLACK-THROATED GREEN WARBLER that gave us an excellent look. Some SWAMP , SONG, CHIPPING and a lovely WHITE-THROAT were found. A couple female BLACK-THROATED BLUE warblers. The normal birds were fairly active with the addition of an INDIGO BUNTING and RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS. To "put the icing on the cake" we had a flyby MERLIN that we later refound perched for "almost" all to see- sorry JO.
