The birds were found by Matt Spence about midmorning, today, Oct. 5. My husband and I just returned from seeing these birds. They are at Maiden Creek Station. Traveling from route 61, just south of Leesport, turn East on to route 73. Cross the dam breast and continue driving east. Take your very first left. You come to a T. Turn left here and park in the small parking area and walk to the water's edge. If you turned = right you would have crossed an old wooden bridge. Watch out on the water for a small flock of Double Crested Cormorants. The Neotropics are with them. They are much smaller in size, have smaller bills and are brownish in color. Any questions feel free to contact me.
