I went hawk watching at Monument Knob (Washington Monument St Pk) today from
about noon until 3pm. 3 other watchers were there for much of that time, but
regular counting seems to have ceased there.

The cold NW winds did what they were supposed to do. The highlights were a
Golden Eagle (with bright golden hackles), 2 Bald Eagles, and 2 Peregrines,
one of which was very close.

The count:
SS 11 (at least, probably more like 15)

AK 5
OS 4
RT 3
BE 2
GE 1
