This is the third time I've written this message, as Hotmail has this nasty habit of erasing your entire outgoing message every once in a while when you press the backspace key. I've never actually physically hurt a computer, but I'm certain it's just a matter of time. Anyways, I birded the fields at the BG&E powerstation in Perryman, HArford Co. yesterday morning. For those who have never been to this spot, it is a large area of overgrown corn fields that abut each other. Savannah Sparrows and Palm Warblers were terrifically abundant, with at least one western Palm evident. Song Sparrows and Gold Finches were next most common. Other good birds included several Field Sparrows, a single Vesper Sparrow, and possibly a late Grasshopper Sparrow (I only heard a single chip note, and I'm not that good!! :). the resident RTH's were flying, as were an adult Cooper's and a hunting Harrier.
