We birded Mt. Pleasant and the birds were everywhere- so many you could hardly sort through them all. We had one little multi-flora bush that held 6 species at one time! We had to quit at 11- so there could have been many more- but we did comb through most of the prime lincoln's habitat. We found my all time high of LINCOLN'S SPARROWS with 20 individuals!. SONGS 168 SWAMPS 52 FIELDS 32 WHITE-THROATS 55 WHITE-CROWNS 8 SAVANNAH 51 CHIPPING 5 My first JUNCOS with 2 birds. Other birds of note were MEADOWLARKS 5, BLUE-HEADED VIREO 2, MERLIN 1 Bonnie Ott Ellicott city ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
