Winter arrivals included YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER, RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH, both KINGLETS. Other passerines included 2 SWAINSON THRUSH and CATBIRD. A GREATER YELLOWLEGS was heard tu-tu-tuing on its` way over. Jeff Gordon, out with a group as well, reported BLUE-HEADED VIREO, HERMIT THRUSH and PALM and MYRTLE WARBLER. At the hawk watch, birders had nice comparisons of SHARP-SHINNED and COOPERS HAWK, with very close overhead views. All enjoyed a good look at an immature NORTHERN HARRIER. Flight for morning from 9AM- 11:45 included: Sharpies- 49 Coops- 2 N.
