We decided to try our luck at Meadowbrook park (aka RT 100 park and ride). A lovely day to sit and from 9:30 to 5:00 we tallied the following migrant raptors OSPREY-1 SHARPIE- 17 COOPERS-1 RED-SHOULD-1 RED-TAIL-6 KESTREL- 2 MERLIN-1 An impromptu early walk through the wetlands (which were not that difficult to thrash through) was very productive with the following sparrows LINCOLNS-10 SWAMP-4 SONG-98 CROWN-14 THROAT-20 CHIPPY-4 FIELD-4 SAVANNAH-4 JUNCO-1 We also had a lovely MEADOWLARK, TENNESEE, BTG and NASHVILLE WARBLERS.
