Since we had a non-Howard birder on the trip the previous day we have proof that the Howard county Lincoln's are not a collective mirage/hallucination. In fact the very first bird of the day was a Lincoln's sitting on top of a multi-flora bush for all to see! Where they went from Saturday to Sunday I cannot say? Maybe we only have 20 Lincoln's here in Howard and they plant themselves in the appropriate location each day so we can find them? Since we were at the central farm they followed us there and deserted Meadowbrook? Bonnie Ott Hoping for Lincoln's tomorrow but really hoping for Nelson's ST and REALLY hoping for LeConte's (someday). ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
