Our numbers of birds were down significantly because we only went a short distance up the "swale field" and then decided to check out the other large field across the street. It was highly UNproductive with only a few sparrows to show for it. The only JUNCO of the morning was found there along with 50+ MYRTLE WARBLERS. Before we cut out of the swale we had the normal sparrow species there (still one LINCOLN'S) along with one BOBOLINK. EASTERN MEADOWLARK, GREEN WING TEAL and COMMON SNIPE.
