Comments: cc: cabmkrwbs@EROLS.COM MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii William, I work at Horsehead Wetlands Center as a volunteer for almost three years. The goose you mentioned might be a Dusky Canada Goose which is almost the same size as the Mallard. Some of the Dusky Canada Geese excape from the Dusky Canada Goose Pond next to the Education Building and often seen with bigger Canada Geese. Most Dusky, I think are flightless. Some of these birds find small holes from the wired fence attached to the wooded fence got out and wandering around anywhere but never goes farther from their pond. We have other subspecies in the area but may be a wild, not sure which one. Kevin Graff Baltimore, MD hawkwatch_21206@yahoo.com __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
