We saw some good birds together you and since I first met you at the Spring MOS Conference in Solomon's Island (where you gave your talk on big year birding in NA). You've shared lots of finer points with me from descriptions of chip notes of sparrows to plumage characteristics of gulls and shorebirds. I don't leave the MD, VA, DE, WV area very often and it has been good to hear about your experiences with birds from other places. I always enjoy reading your posts. I am lucky in a couple ways. First to have had the opportunity to bird with you and Second because Morgantown, WV is much closer to Columbus than a lot of places in MD. I look forward to exploring some new territory with you in OH if you will allow me to tag along. Congrats on the job and Good Luck in Columbus. Sincerely, J.B.
