He was driving at 55 mph across the Bay Bridge heading east, and was already on the Queen Anne's County side, when he saw a large white bird making wide, leisurely circles between the two spans. At first he thought it was a white-winged gull, but then he noticed that the wings were round, with no black on the primary tips. He also noted a blunt head, and all white plumage with possibly some black marks on the breast. He thought that the tail was perhaps not the right length for a Snowy Owl, but he points out that both he and the bird were in motion. He told me he is 99% certain that the bird is a Snowy Owl. Rob Hilton transcriber (hopefully everything is as relayed to me). ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
