Quite a strong diurnal movement this morning, with flocks of Robins and Waxwings, lots of Golden-crowned Kinglets in the tress, and even a Purple Finch or two calling overhead. Juncoes in the garden along with White-throats. Barry had his first Fox Sparrow of the autumn, along with two Vesper Sparrows and more of the commoner species, at Layhill Park yesterday. Oh yes, the Screech Owl was calling in the yard this morning, well after daylight. NO hummingbirds at my red mint yet ...dang.
