A short visit this morning (4 Nov) to Bywater Road yielded the first two fox
sparrows of the fall for me.
Also some others turned up today:

a small flock of Field Sparrows (6)
American Goldfinch (18)
American Robin (2)
Belted Kingfisher
Chimney Swift (2)
White-throated Sparrow (10+)
Northern Mockingbird(9)
Yellow-rump Warbler (2)
Carolina Chickadee (10+)
Tufted Titmouse (12)
Northern Cardinal (many)
American Crow (16)
Ring-billed Gull (7)
Ruby-crowned Kinglet (4)
Common Yellowthroat
Common Flicker (2)
Downy Woodpecker
Song Sparrow (8+)
Blue Jay
Winter Wren

But no sign of the Yellow-breasted chat seen on Tuesday (31 Oct), nor of the
return of the American Woodcocks that stayed there all last winter.
