Unfortunately I have only had occasion to search for it twice, and very briefly, on Tuesday morning and Wednesday morning. I do NOT, repeat, DO NOT, feel that my searches have been at all thorough and think the bird easily could have been present and missed. When seen on Sunday it was very elusive even with 20 birders focusing on the same tiny hedgerow that the bird was known to be feeding in. On Sunday it was calling only intermittently, and if it happened to be in the woodlot instead of the hedgerow by the old house, I very likely would have missed it. I seeing the Ash-throat interests you, I would stll recommend trying. The bird was in a good patch of habitat and Ash-throats have a fairly good track record of sticking in for a short while at least. To my knowledge, only one other person (Sam Dyke) has looked since Kevin Graff found it Monday, and Sam was present at the same time I was. By the way, Kevin, where did you see the bird exactly and what was it doing?
