Date: Sun, 19 Nov 2000 18:13:43 EST Reply-To: Maryland Birds & Birding Sender: Maryland Birds & Birding From: Gail Mackiernan Subject: Layhill today (11/19) Hi all -- Barry went out scouting Layhill Park today, looking for Tree Sparrow or Rusty Blackbird, both of which Norm Saunders saw yesterday. Well, as usually happens, he didn't see either of thse but he did find a rather late Lincoln's Sparrow and four Fox Sparrows, as well as about 170 White-throated Sparrows, good numbers of Song, a few Fields (south end of the park) and Juncoes here and there. Not too much else of note other than a nice flock of Bluebirds and fair numbers of Myrtle Warblers. I am still nursing my cold, so stayed in!
