The old record was back on 10/21/1958, when R. J. Beaton had one on Assateague (MB 6:50, AFN 5:10, WT 6:123, S&R58). It was probably one of a small number of state record arrival/depature dates from S&R58 still standing (at least until last Friday). I am sure you can elucidate the rest ... Interestingly, despite the number of wintering LaSp records for Maryland, there are none for Worcester, where you might think it most likely. Maybe this will become first, and we can reinstate Mr. Beaton's place in history. And true, you can't top my 10 LaSps on AI (for now), but I'm surprised you didn't start the old mainland vs. Assateague competition, as I have never seen a LaSp on the mainland of WC. Looks like your up 1-0.
