Lesser Black-backed Gulls were seen (one each) at the Brown's Station = Landfill recycling center pond in Upper Marlboro and along the RR Bed = trail at Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary. Hooded Mergansers were also = present at BSLF recycling pond as they have been for the past couple of = days. Also along the RR bed trail at Jug Bay were: Bonapartes' Gull, Pintail, = GW Teal, Black Duck, N. Harrier, Cooper's Hawk, R.S. Hawk, Bald Eagle, = G.C. Kinglet, Fox Sparrow, Swamp Sparrow, and Rusty Blackbird. Best sighting of the day was a river otter near the observation blind on = the RR trail! Good birding, Tom Harten Croom=20 ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
