I was standing on the deck as far around as you can walk, and they were to the right as I looked through the trees, on the thin finger of lake which parallels the lower parking lot. I had 13 waterfowl species there yesterday, including Tundra Swans, Gadwall, A.Wigeon, A. Black Ducks, 3 Northern Pintails, 3 Canvasbacks and 3 Redheads. The shallow "boat-ramp" end of the lake was frozen over, and this is where I would normally expect to find Hoodies, but you may want to check Black Hill anyway, as it can hold an impressive variety this time of year. Have fun, Rick ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
