Birding the Potomac River (non-tidal MD waters) along the shorelines of Great
Falls and Riverbend Parks, Va. on Sunday, Nov 26, produced a large number of
waterbirds, as follows:

Pied-billed Grebe 5
Great Blue Heron 1
Tundra Swan 1
Canada Geese 500+
Black Duck 4
Mallards 100 +
Gadwall 30
American Widgeon 8
Redhead 3 (below dam in Great Falls NP)
Ring-neck Duck 20
Bufflehead 35
Hooded Merganser (female) 1
Ring-billed Gull 12
Black-backed Gull 1
Coot 125
Belted Kingfisher 2
