But Paul Pisano is right about the favoritism; I probably wouldn't have said anything. I don't have first hand knowledge that Stan is a Professional Scofflaw, as I do for others. Naturally, I clung tenaciously to the speed limits when I went to see the Mango on Wednesday (11/22). That's why it took 7 1/2 hours to get there (404 miles). And I sleep well at night. BTW, my trip was to Niagara Falls for the First North American Gull Conference in conjunction with a Wings Gull Workshop. Outstanding! And if there is another, I would highly recommend attendance. Aside from a superb program of slides and lectures, we saw ten species of gulls, including Little, Thayer's, Iceland, Lesser Black-backed, Glaucous and Sabine's. Oh yes, if any of you have gull questions, ask Norm and Fran Saunders. They are now our resident gull experts.
