Leslie; I use Avisys Song, but you should know that what it does is serve only as a tool for utilizing the Peterson Eastern and Western CD's, enabling you to arrange various birds in sequences of your own choosing and to build quizzes and tests. I like it and the sound quality of the Peterson CD's are not matched by the Thayer "Birds of North America" IMHO. If your husband uses AVISYS for bird recordkeeping, however there is a neat new thing that Avisys has done. You can download for free a program that integrates the birds in Avisys with the Thayer software, enabling you to enter a sighting and then push a button to get a picture of the bird and to hear it as well. It does it faster than the Thayer disc does it on its own. I'm just a happy user of Avisys for the last five years with no financial interest at all.
