The meeting ran from 8 AM until 10 PM or so, but I did manage to find some birding time. A couple of posts have already described what was around. Here are a few additions: Friday, 12/1: Ocean City Inlet: great cormorant (2) 94th Street woods: YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT Saturday, 12/2: Indian River Inlet: Forster's terns, competing with the human fishermen Sunday, 12/3: 3rd Street flats: brant (4) Blackwater (on the way home): bald eagle (3 adult, 2 immature); dunlin (100+) The Chat looked very much like the picture of a "first fall female" in Dunn and Garrett. The breast was a colder, more metallic yellow than I am used to. The eye ring was prominent, the "spectacle line" was not.
