Per the directions posted several days ago, I got great looks at the gray morph Eastern Screech Owl in the Wood Duck box. He was sleeping in the box with his head sticking partly out of the opening, occassionally half-opening one eye to look around. Also at this pond, I saw a flyover immature Bald Eagle, a Red Tailed Hawk being mobbed by a group of crows, 2 mallards, and 10+ flyover Turkey Vultures. I did not see the red morph Eastern Screech Owl. However, at the edge of this pond I did see 6 White Crowned Sparrows (!!), plus dozens of House Finches, 3 Song Sparrows, 1 White Throated Sparrow, 3 Cardinals, 3 Mourning Doves, 2 Starlings, 4 Crows, and 1 Goldfinch.
