Yesterday afternoon there was, among the many Canadas, a goose with likely hybrid--orange legs, orange/pink bill, white "front," barred sides, but with a pale cheek, about the same size as the Canadas; it looked pretty much like one of the Canada x White-fronted pictured in Sibley. We saw it from the road; it was feeding along one of the dikes toward the pink house, between two impoundments with small areas of open water; it worked its way (toward the house) over a dike edge and out of sight.
